Subject: On my client --- "Failed To Logon CWPST0071E: The maximum number of login attempts has been exceeded"
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Security
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Intermittent

At least once or twice a week I receive this message when logging into (just entering my ID's password) my client:

Failed To Logon
CWPST0071E: The maximum number of login attempts has been exceeded

My client then shuts down and I have to start it back up. I can log back in and everything works fine.

I found a blog post on this, but it did not help me out:
http://lekkimworld.com/2008/12/11/twitnotes_stopped_working_today.html

Just curious to know if others are experiencing this -- not sure why it would happen.

Is there a limit on how many times you can log into your client? Or is there something running behind the scenes (Eclipse?) that may be causing this?

Thanks!
Dan
